Almost always already

Dust gathered from Melbourne Artists Studios, glass shelves, shadows and reflections. 2014

The work also includes the immaterial components of shadows and reflections cast on the gallery wall. Audiences were asked to participate in the preservation of the work. This could occur on two ways: firstly people could sweep the work off the shelf and post it to me for use in future iterations of the work and thus ensuring the ongoing access to the work; secondly, they could conserve the current state of the work, by not intervening and thus protecting the work for the audience in this single exhibition.
